27th of Planting 1820 (spring)   The party arrived in Eintritt in the afternoon, after 20 days at sea aboard The Meteor, a fast traveling galley owned by an agent of the Chan Trading Co. On arriving Scar was talked in to buying a pair of mythril 8ft max Alofters, from the workshop of Fenza BrassHeart, for 300GP. the party spent some time wandering the markets before finding their way to The Supreme Giant Inn . Where they had dinner and Xarxes Ulgathian learned the game of Mahjong from Gwari.   The rest of the party spoke with Jacobs mentor Rhone and learned the fallowing

• The cave was discovered recently (beginning of spring) when the spring melts revealed it.
• It is high up in the mountains where there is snow and ice year round
• The people who found it claim that there is a icy they could not cross that led deeper in to the cave
• They found the cave while on a hunt, they encountered bad weather and became turned around in a fog. They tried to take shelter in the cave but found it to be as cold if not colder than outside and said it had a foreboding feeling so they left as soon as they could.
• The cave is roughly a days travel from the town of Thinduos

The tavern rumors overheard were:

• There's a mad hermit who lives in the Rock Shadow.
• An elemental army has gathered in the Secret Cyst of Terror.
• A perpetual magical storm rages over the Eternal libraries. (Alphonse, Scar and Jacob know the enteral libraries to be the libraries of mystra's holy city)

They made plans to Go from Eintritt to Pealver then go cross country to Thinduos.

• Eintritt > Pealver: 2 days
• Pealver > Thinduos: 2-3 days
• Total trip: 4-5 days, and three towns.
• ( Eintritt > Hvegils > Pealver > Thinduos)

They stayed the night at the Inn. During the night Xarxes and Alister decided to tell Alphonse about their Demi-dead nature and judge how the rest of the party might react. In the morning the three of them talked and it was decided that the rest of the party should know. Overall it was accepted with no issues, and the party set out to Hveglis the next town on their route.

28th of Planting 1820 (Spring) The Party set out and had an uneventful morning and early afternoon. About an hour and a half away from the town of Hveglis they were ambushed by a Hill giant and his pack of 6 direwolves. The encounter did not last long, but left the party faced with the issue of getting a dead hill giant out of the road. While they were dealing with this two old ladies ( Mother Nancy Fowlstirrer, Auntie Sophia Tombfoot) and came down the road heading in to town. They chatted with the party for a while and headed in to town with them. During the walk they chatted with the party and told them about the disturbing talismans that can be seen hanging in the forest.

• The locals keep taking them down but someone keeps putting new ones up
• The towns folk whisper that they are a sign of Annis hags
• The annis hag stories are used to scare children in to behaving.

Once in town the party notices that the townsfolk seem reserved and un-trusting of strangers but the presence of the old ladies and the good word from them got the party a spot in the barn of the local stable master and furrier Koralath Lumberrunner Ovethukane, who also agreed to help them move the corpse out of the road in the morning. Once settled in Xarxes set up his tiny hut spell and sent his owl familiar out to "patrol" the town for him.
