Eintritt (en-tri-t)

Districts
Murky Dock District
This district is where the Foreign trade ships come in. Because it serves as the trading hub its population is very diverse and ranges from aristocratic traders and merchants to sailors and fishermen. The smells of the sea are prevalent here and it is a noisy place all hours of the day. Its main market square is the Harbor market and it has two inns: The Dragon and Fox and The Supreme Giant. Because of its location next to the Greycastle Citadel many of the guardsmen pass through here either for training or simply ending their shifts. There are 15 noble households present in the district, largely consisting of foreign trader and sailor families. As well as one of the homes of the Greycastle family, within their citadel.
Cotton Crown District
A little more upscale than Murky Dock the Cotton Crown district is home to the merchants who either are or deal with the foreign trading companies. The area is overseen by 16 noble families each representing one of the merchant or craft guilds. Far enough from the docks to be free of any fishy smell but close enough to enjoy the sea breeze in the evening this district is still incredibly diverse with all sorts of people mingling together. It has one major market area known as The Cotton Market and one inn The Rampant hero. The Section of the Husver river that cuts through the city forms a sort of natural barrier between the places visitors go and the rest of the city.Stone Docks District
This district is a nicer larger version of the Murky Dock District. This is where local ships come and go from. It is a smaller district than Murky Dock and consists more of warehouses and shipping companies than inns and market places. It dose have several taverns and one smaller market bordering Beercourt. Overall this is an area for moving goods and finding boats more than the social hub of Murky Dock. The major shipping companies do keep a few of the apartment style buildings available for the sailors who are not currently at sea. There are also the businesses and the like that tend to pop up around sailors, however few people come here without a purpose and it is not a place many outsiders see.
Beer Court District
Beer Court takes up the majority of the town and features a mix of residential housing, businesses and workshops. This is were the majority of the people live and work in the city. The more central and close to Cattleford district the more upscale the residences and the more finished products are being sold or made. as you move to the edges and in to Mist Mill you get more of the raw material processing trades and a generally poorer population.
Mist Mill District

This is also where people who have less socially acceptable trades tend to live. things here tend to be rough around the edges the further you go from the main road. The exception is the section nearest to Cattleford. That section of the district is largely home to the domestic servants and staff of the noble houses.
Cattle Ford District
This is the most refined district in the city and many of the noble houses that oversee the other districts also have homes here. the majority of this district is residential though there is a section dedicated to learning and the arts. The Town guards are more prevalent here and mingle with private house guards. This is also where the Mayor of the town and the government buildings are located.

Architecture
Roads:
The major roads through the city easily measure 165ft across. The side roads are between 100 and 60ft across. This makes the small alley ways seem even smaller than they actually are. Most of the roads are paved with huge flagstones some much larger than a person.
Buildings: Buildings are as equally impressive and possess a natural sort of beauty. They are predominately made of stone, with oversized doors and windows that are proportional to the dimensions of the structure they are in, with the standard story of any public establishment being 22 ft. This gives the feeling of very spacious interiors with high ceilings, and accentuated by natural light. Sturdy construction is highly prized, which is evident even in their furnishings as it tends to be large and heavy. Taking advantage of these big buildings, rooftop gardens are incredibly popular, adding a riot of colors to the simpler facades, and balconies along the upper stories often provide spectacular views. Residential buildings in the city tend towards tall apartment towers. These places have a dual purpose as their lobbies are more often then not some sort of shop that caters to the area. Although they all have a uniform exterior, there are minor differences between residences found in an opulent part of the city versus those in less fortunate community, with the former featuring the high ceilings and open spaces and the latter only having the appearance on the outside but possessing standard dimensions inside.
