Svalinn
Serving as the border that cuts off the Dead Sea from the rest of Brimir, Svalinn was constructed to mark the end of the Age of Gods, once formed, the barrier cut off almost all physical connection the gods had in the world, preventing them from taking physical form and directly interfering with mortal life. More importantly than the removal of gods war from Brimir's Soil, the Svalinn wall has transcended to seal off connections to other worlds, talks of other planes, alien worlds, and the hellish onrush have become mere fiction to the denizens of a Brimir that flourishes in the Age of Man.
What exactly lies on the other side of the wall has been a topic of constant debate, Countless Adventurers have been lost trying to breach the icy dome, while their remains were never discovered, frozen statues of their likeness decorate the walls along the edges of the world, more concerning is how many statues depict entities that don't resemble anything from this world. While we may not know what transpires on the other side of the walls, evidence and rumors have suggested that the wall is ever so slowly expanding outward, exposing lush, nutirent-rich, land to the ever-growing Dead Sea. Perhaps one day we'll be able to explore the full world of Brimir, or perhaps we won't have a choice.
Purpose / Function
