As a devotee to The Glorious Alfredo, one must;

Recognize the holy form of the chicken.

Exhaust their energy to care for the chicken.

Give land for the chickens to roam.

Ensure the chickens are well fed, comfortable, and never stressed.

Protect the chickens from harm, sacrificing themselves if necessary.

Spread the chickens across the realm.

Never consume meat from the holy chicken.

Never harm a chicken.

Do all in their power to stop the unfaithful from transgressing upon the chickens freedom.

Stand against the oppression of the chicken.

Punish those who bring harm to the chickens, in the name of The Watcher Poultry.

To transform bregule into a sacred land, for the chickens.

A relatively young god, Alfredo is one of the lesser gods who manifested naturally. At first he seemed to have concern for the treatment of the animals man kind domesticated, and it was believed by the other gods he would ensure that man did not treat their animals the way the Duvrhen had treated them. However the more time Alfredo spent in the material plane he began to show signs of insanity, he began to mutter to himself in seemingly squakish sentences, his movements became more erratic, and eventually he clothed his human form with feathers instead of clothes. He began to show his clear favoritism towards the chickens of Bregule, he would become angry with man for their slaughter of his favorite creature, but was prevented from doing anything about it as the greater gods had deemed consumption of other creatures a necessity for survival. After much pleading to make the chicken a holy animal, and the killing of them a damnable offense, he settled on a more subtle approach. He took a new form when he walked the material plane, that of a giant rooster. Because of his own weakness he could not take this form in the presence of strongly fortified cities, but the povershed towns of Bregule made the perfect witness of his towering appearance . He informed the mortals who he could appear before that he was an almighty being, capable of punishing them should they disobey him, and rewarding their faithfulness. He claimed that obeying his commands and ensuring the well being of every chicken they came across would ensure them a place in the heavens, but that hell would be waiting if they allowed any harm to come to them.

Despite these claims, as a lesser god he has been unable to convince Sla’krahn that his followers deserve any different treatment then other mortals.The angels of death find the complaining of his followers when faced with reality to be quite humorous.
