Demerit system

How demerits work

The following system describes the system of demerits that Operation h4F uses as disciplinary measures in our ranks.   A demerit can be given out by officers for the following behaviors:
  • Not following uniform regulations.
  • Failure to report status (going/maybe/declined with reason) for a sunday session
  • Not showing up for an event that a "going" status was communicated for
  • Excessive unexplained absence or a lack of activity
  • Breaking the respect yourself and others rule
Demerits can also be handed out for other breaches of Codex rules at the discretion of an officer.   Demerits are tracked by officers for each player that receives one. Receiving a second demerit in any given rank will result in demotion. For example, an initiate that has already received a demerit and receives a second will be demoted to hopeful.   Hopeless status: If you are demoted while a "hopeful" you will be considered "hopeless". If you are demoted again it will result in expulsion from the group.

Demerits can be worked off

Examples of ways that you can work a demerit off:
  • Running a multisession storyline arc
  • Writing 5 articles for the website
  • Contributing artwork
  • Creating content for social media (radio drama, holotapes, etc)
