The disappearance of Ezekiel

The archmage Ezekiel seemingly never returned to the city of Gerter, a town he frequently practiced his magic in.   Ezekiel commonly left enchanted items in Gerter, mostly with enchantments designed as some sort of practical joke or nuisance.   No indication of him being alive has been seen since.
