A humble and protective dwarven warrior-smith known as Delbara managed to forge a powerful fiery axe thanks to her devotion to Kruzec. She gathered like minded souls and created the adventuring company known as the Rising Blades. She was joined by: Dorovk a dour, patient and serious half orc wizard who prefered book over people. Emelia, a human witch quick of wit and a keen mind with an interest in spirits and ghosts Viktor Lorinck, a boisterous and friendly human knight with a knack for tactics and a hatred for injustice. Riellal, a soft spoken and observant Half-Elf archer with a clouded and unknown past. All of them became known as famed defenders under the banner of her flaming axe: The Firebrand.
A necromancer arose from the underdark known as Audolet Karaxin and tormented the lands north of Ard Lyskaldun. The Rising Blades clashed numerous times, defeated his army and drove him back into the underdark. Within the Underdark they cornered the necromancer within his tower and destroyed him once and for all. After that many of the Rising Blades go their seperate ways.
The Human Baron Viktor Lorinck and his half-elven wife Riellel finishes construction of Castle Lorinck at the edge of the Nebelloch. With the blessing of the human king of Utharic he is crowned the first Margrave of the region. The many mists late during the year and the fog coming in from the lake earn it the name: Mistwatch.
The Dwarven Fortress known as the Firebrand Redoubt below Ard Lyskaldun that formed it's connection to the Underdark fell to Duergar onslaught and with it, the Rising Blades themselves fell. The survivors joined other clans and the fortress became merely a historical sight.
The royal family is murdered at the king's birthday as part of King Marcus II's 40th birthday celebration he invites his close family to attend his birthday gala at the royal palace.
Duke Iyorith declares his land's independent from the Kingdom, and attempt to position himself as King Iyorith. In his decree he states his family followed the Wyrmbane line, with their death his obedience is no longer required. The Grand Duchess and Grand Duke declare his act treasonous and gather an army to force him to kneel before them. This date goes into history as the start of the Thronewar.
Lord Iyorith's military campaign is hindered by, Kraal humans and Orc taking advantage of the weakened northern borders. Repeated assaults and raids from these savage folk lead to him pulling significant forces from the southern borders. By the end of the summer Iyorith stopped the northern raids but was pushed out of Skarba and had lost Skalen to the Grand Dukedom of Uthyr.
The army of The Grand Duchy, led by Baron Varsili Corhall storms and takes control over the Baronny of Skalen after an extended siege period. It's noble line is cut down and hung from the gates as a message to anyone who defies the will of the Grand Duchess.
The army of the Grand Duchess, led by Duchess Timar and Baron Varsili, arrives in Sweinfurt and defeats lord Iyorith's smaller army. However Baron Falmarch destroys the bridge crossing over the Lyska river, making further engagements impossible. The Southern fields belong to the Grand Duchy of Uthyr, but the city remains in the hands of Iyorith. The siege comes to an end as no side can assail the other.
Sweinfurt falls to intrigue and insurrectionists, it's countess dies as does the Iyorith heir Waeldmar II, the county falls into Timar hands.
