Slatefall Hospital

Slatefall Hospital was founded as Slatefall Prison in 1876. It was later converted into a hospital. The main floor housed the medical staff an patients, and the lower floor was for the psych ward. The small hospital and it's staff kept a fair reputation in the community until the older resident physicians retired and new doctors took their places. One in particular, Dr. Crane began unscrupulous and unethical experiments on the patients. Many of whom died under his care.   After many years and many missing patients, the staff began to decline and the state of the hospital was in disarray. Patients in need of care were subjected to cruel experiments, and the only staff that remained in this environment were almost as cruel as Dr Crane.

Finally, in 1943, a patient named bribed an orderly to open his cell door. He released many of the other patients in the psych ward, including August White , a psychopath and serial killer. Some of the more disturbed patients set a fire to the West Ward, while many chose to escape outright. August, on the other hand, chose to strike at his tormenter directly. August threw a crippled Dr. Crane in to the fire of the West Ward, but was caught by debris and died not far from him. After the patient riot, the hospital was permanently shut down.
