Vauyeas

"It presumes to speak our tongue? To sing? How adorable. How novel. Oh, how deliciously futile. As if such frail mortal forms had the grace or wit to articulate the most rudimentary of thoughts with any semblance of clarity? Oh no, I do not mock thee for thine failures. I revel in their attempts! Come mortal, sing again? Louder! With zeal! Though crude, clumsy, and distasteful to the ear, it is still a marvel to behold. Like a tragically beautiful spasm of a dying beast. Come mortal, convulse for us again!
- The Blossoming Stag, Jyothi Yuvarhajah of the Vaarner Prakaseista of Glimmer

Vauyeas is the ancient parent language of every Fey culture across the vast Cosmos. However, unlike other parent languages, Vauyeas is still very much alive, being spoken in its original form throughout the twin dimensions of the Astral Realms, Glimmer and Gloom, as well as the larger sector known as the Myths of Myth by its countless Fey denizens. Vauyeas itself means "Song" in their own language. A complex caste based language, Vauyeas is defined by its various caste-restricted dialects meant to reinforce the strict hierarchy of the Vaarner Faeryi.

Vauyeas is loosely based on Telugu. Telugu is an ancient root-Dravidian language older than Indo-Aryan. Telugu directly influenced Sanskrit speakers in India to shape Hindi.
