The planar core of Nihaya is forever entombed in a perpetual state of decay. Its diminished core contains no energy, it is dull materia and motionless immateria trapped in total entropic neutrality. Scholars have correctly identified Nihaya as the final terminus of all Radiant energy, as its neutral state draws all energy towards it. Other scholars argue that Nihaya is the collective inevitable fate of all realities, crushed toward in a frightening ruin of detritus and despair. While Nihaya produces no essence, however due to a discordant flaw in the Temporal Realm, the corrosive energy known as Necrosis accumulates in its raw form within the core of Nihaya. This causes the entire plane to be haunted Undead. As a result, the vast majority of the plane is uncharted, even by the expansive Qayid, as to dare enter the draining nothingness of Nihaya is to be consuming on an atomic level.
