Ridgemont's Heralds
"This is the Cavalry of House Canaris?" *The man said as he looked upon the Riders* "Yes, My lord" *Said the Quartermaster* "This will not do. Let's get down to business"The Heralds were formed not late after Ridgemont arrived in Scourge and took it as his permanent Residence. He looked upon the Cavalry Tradition of House Canaris and saw much to improve and so he did. The training of these men goes beyond just riding and fighting. Ridgemont made them Knights in all but Title, giving them not only advanced Riding Teachings but also the Commanders a overall introduction into Tactics, letting them possess a greater View of a Battlefield at any given time. These men were drawn from all who signed up, and even though all are determined, only a few selected make the training, or survive it at that. The very few that did were granted a set of Heavy Armor that showed various depictions of Roses, Swords of fine material and good Warhorses. These men swore their Oaths directly to him. His Command being final over them, as he would enforce a very strict order as these men were expected to be the second Best somebody could be
