Gilded Sails
The Gold Sails, or Gilded Sails are a small law enforcement fleet, formed by Gormon Peake with the purpose of dealing with smuggler's hideout and patrol the length of the Blackwater Rush to inhibit crime and take swift punishment to bandits. It is part of the City Watch of King's Landing.
Structure
Each ship possesses a sargeant, and a captain, all captains report to a Fleet Magistrate, who in turn answers to the Commander of the Watch , and the Hand of the King.
The current Fleet Magistrate is Ser Emmon Crane.
Public Agenda
The function of the Gilded Sails is to find and neutralize smuggling operations, and patrol the waters of Blackwater Bay and the Blackwater Rush. Though not devised as a war force, if needed they can be employed as support to the Royal Fleet.

The crew of the gilded sails is outfitted similarly to the city watchmen, black armour, gloves and boots, with wool cloaks dyed gold.Weaponry
Their weapon loadout differs from the main city watchmen one in that it favours more ranged combat, with each sailor carrying a light crossbow, in addition to a dirk and cudgel. Captains and officers might carry longsword.Vehicles
The Gilded Sails are comprised of twenty longships, all of them with black painted hulls and sails dyed gold.History
