Hobgoblin
Hobgoblins are a subspecies of Goblin. Hobgoblins are taller and stronger than goblins, and generally more martial in nature.

The main difference from Hobgoblins and their shorter kin is a tendency towards order. Hobgoblins are often found as groups of mercenaries or independent legions carving out their own domain. Generally Hobgoblins have a very close tie with their kin, and their identity is tightly tied to their band or clan. Unlike commonly assumed, Hobgoblins are not born evil, but their culture is isolated by poor reputation, and as such they do not tend to deal fairly with other species, seeing them as rivals for survival.
History
Hobgoblins along with their kin have been around since the beginning of Notria. Their history is marked by violence and migration.
