Tilis has a variety of magically inclined abilities, the majority of which are catered towards illusionary and charming effects.

Tilis wears a white, half-laced shirt with a belt running from his upper torso to his waist. He wears dark pants tucked into his light brown boots. Over top of everything, he wears an opened dark brown trench coat that covers the two holsters clipped to his waist.   After having recently acquiring his ship again, he has also started wearing a multicolored, diamond-shaped necklace around his neck.

-Tilis was a slave for an illegal creature trafficking ring for as long as he could remember. In particular, he was charged with caring for a faerie dragon who they were holding to be sold once a buyer was found. Tilis was amazed by the dragon but also saddened at its captivity. He would occasionally steal baked goods or sweets to give to the dragon, or he'd give it the sweets he was very occasionally given as a reward. In return, the fey creature taught Tilis the basics of using fey magic. However, he wasn't able to learn too much before the traffickers found a buyer. The dragon was sold and he could do nothing to stop it. After this, Tilis was assigned to a new creature. Due to his experience with the faerie dragon, he was charged with caring for a long, silvery-blue pseudodragon.   -Caring for this pseudodragon would be a long-term commitment for Tilis. Unlike the faerie dragon, the pseudodragon has a venom that can be harvested and sold and so it was kept for that purpose, rather than just being sold. Tilis felt a similar empathy for this creature and similarly did his best to provide extra food and other things that would make it happy. In turn, the pseudodragon would use its telepathy to show Tilis what it was like to fly, before it was shackled to the ground and locked in a cage. Tilis dreamed of being able to experience it for himself one day. He and the dragon became very attached and each wanted to be free so they began to plan their escape.   -However, not all goes to plan and the dragon is killed in the escape. A mourning but finally free Tilis manages to board onto a random ship and becomes a stowaway, just wanting to get anywhere else. -He lived on the streets, using the little magic he'd learned to help him get what he needed to survive. Occasionally planet-hopping to avoid law enforcement. His dream of flying was the one motivation keeping him going.   -With a combination of magic and wit, he managed to achieve that dream by sneaking onto the transport ship for a group of boys headed to a pilot academy, taking the place of one of the other students and assuming his identity. Unknown to Tilis, it would lead to said boy being believed to be the impostor and arrested. -Tilis spent the next few years being educated at the academy. He learned how to fly and was finally able to do the thing he'd wanted to since he was a boy. He was a great pilot and graduated top of his class because of his passion. However, his achievement in this brought some unwanted questions soon after graduation. A few people started to realize things didn't line up with who he claimed to be.   -Not long after graduation, lots of the higher-ups began to look into Tilis and when he was confronted about it directly, Tilis had to use his magic to charm the investigators and run. His running just led to further questions. Eventually, an investigator discovered an old file that mentioned an impostor had "attempted" to take one of the student's place in the academy. This led them to the imprisoned student who explained to them what happened and a warrant for Tilis's arrest was put out.   -Now on the run and back on the streets, Tilis had to find a way to make a "good" living for himself (in the financial sense, not moral or legal necessarily). This led him to use his new piloting abilities, He began shuttling contraband goods and people on the run. A lot of it felt perfectly natural to him because of having spent his childhood watching smugglers, however, he did draw the line at shuttling slaves and magical creatures. He refused to anything similar and preferred to take the jobs that were the least immoral when possible but wouldn't avoid the occasional outlaw or illegal weaponry on board.

Enslaved for years. Faerie dragon he was tasked with taking care of while enslaved was sold and there was nothing he could do about it. Psuedodragon he was next tasked with caring for died as they both attempted to escape.

Definitely not someone with a large amount of book smarts (8 Int after all), however he is more than capable when it comes to navigating flying vehicles and he can be pretty convincing when he wants to be. Pun game on points too btw

Never gained a traditional sense of morality as he wasn't really taught one during his upbringing as a slave but he knows the very basics of good and bad and tries to lean more towards good when he can. While he does a good share of trafficking, he refuses to traffic slaves or other creatures against their will. Prefers to traffic people who have a good reason to need to get away (but he takes plenty of other work too, i.e. drugs).

Despises slavery, both of humanoids, and of sentient creatures

Money and adventure are what's keeping him going for now, though the people he's met in doing so are starting to become more and more of a reason for him to continue his current path.

Not generally very virtuous but he's been as good to Eg as he knows how to be and helps the party when he can.

Naturally charismatic normally but a little magic to aid in that never hurts.

Somewhat antagonistic to those he's close to as sarcasm and humor are his expressions of affection. Very antagonistic towards enemies. Can be mannerful towards those he has met recently and believes it's a bad idea to piss off.
