Nori Brickaxe
Nori Brickaxe was the dwarf who, 1,000 (or more?) years ago left the mountain city to explore the forbidden land to the south and through his determination found a way to cross the unnamed straight.
This journey resulted in the discovery that underneath the inhospitable The Scourgelands was an underground full of precious minerals.
The explorer took some of the minerals, crossed straight again and climbed back up to the mainland, a point now called Nori’s Landing.
He made the long journey back to the mountains and convinced a group of dwarves to leave and return to The Scourgelands with him, to began construction of a new Dwarven City.
