Stabaki (Stah-bawk-ee)
Structure
The titles and hierarchy of Stabaki are as follows: The main leader is the chief- currently, it is Harald Olsen. The advisors of the Chief are called the Clan, with six main divisions:
Warrior Captain
People Captain
Silver Captain
Judge Captain
Builder Captain
Supplies Captain
Below the Clan, there is little to no extra infrastructure, except for the occasional tribes chief.
Culture
The culture of Stabaki is primarily military based, with most citizens believing that death not in battle is a death wasted, allowing nearly all citizens to participate in the action. Interestingly, Stabaki has little to no gender barriers, and men, women, and non-binaries alike are all viewed equally. In contrast to Mystdale, where magic is not practiced due to religious reasons, most people in Stabaki do not practice magic because they simply do not understand it- They do, however, know its military importance, and even encourage the use of magic in the country, though they themselves standardly do not practice it. The races of Stabaki vary, but there is a general rule- the larger the race, the better. (with the exception of dwarves.) Due to the generally better odds of larger races in war, there are exceptions, but rarely. In order for a smaller race to be respected, they must first prove their combat prowess.
Public Agenda
The nation of Stabaki's current main goal is to keep the land they currently own. Stabaki has the largest land claim in Beland, and the largest population to support it as well. The government's current main concern is the war with Mystdale and keeping the disputed islands largely under their control. Stabaki is currently winning the war, however, and they believe that it should end within a year. They do have trouble competing against the technology of Mystdale, however. The archers and warriors of Stabaki are almost no match for the firearms of Mystdale, and they have to rely on sheer numbers to win most skirmishes.
Assets
The nation of Stabaki has Beland's largest population (72,000,000) and as such, has a large economy. While only one-fifth of Stabaki's population works in a non-agriculture or military occupation, it still manages to be a leading exporter of raw goods, which are often sent off to either Itala or Virbo for finishing. Stabaki also has full access to Blazing Ridge, as the country runs along the entire northern edge of the range, and extends nearly to the top of Beland. Stabaki also has a large sum of Silver, Beland's largest armory of ships, horses, and war wagons. Stabaki's military is hard to estimate, due to the rapid increase in the army size, but last year's census showed that nearly forty million troops were armed, and they have half a million ships at the ready. We cannot currently know the number of horses or war wagons.
Demography and Population
A large portion of the population in Stabaki resides along the east coast, near the Misty Marine. They are fairly evenly spread out along the coast, with the exceptions of a few major cities such as Nortok Creek. There are several islands off the coast, which Stabaki is at war with MystDale over. There are also a few major cities along different areas, like near Blazing Ridge, or the border with Itala.
Territories
Stabaki occupies a large amount of the land north of Blazing Ridge, extending from Grus Pit to Sleepy Hill, at a semi-diagonal line. They also have land claims of a few small islands to the east of Stabaki, out in the Misty Marine.
Military
The military of Stabaki is the largest one in Beland. They have several hundred divisions of the military, with several thousand troops in each division.
Technological Level
Stabaki is relatively behind on the technology advancements of Beland, but the country looks to advance its technology by trading slaves with Itala, in exchange for research funds and technology. This treaty has not yet been signed and is being reviewed by the Clan.
Foreign Relations
Stabaki is mostly feared by other nations, with the exclusion of MystDale, who believe that their firearms will allow them to beat the superior force.
Agriculture & Industry
Much of Stabaki's industry comes from slave trading. People who are considered too weak for the military and unfit for other jobs are often sold into slavery. Stabaki's large population also helps with this process, and selling people into slavery does not impact the population much.
Trade & Transport
Stabaki has countless trade networks out of the country, including the sea, Blazing Ridge passages, or even just traveling over land. There are several trade agreements involving Stabaki, especially with Itala, a major importer of slaves.
List of official trade agreements:
- Treaty of Solis
- Treaty of Towerwood
- Treaty of Frost
- Treaty of Dentis
- Treaty of Guardians
Education
Education is not very much of a priority in Stabaki, and as such there are few universities, and the ones that do exist cost a small fortune to attend. Nearly three-quarters of the Stabaki population have not finished high school, and one-third of them cannot read. Only the extremely wealthy get any sort of post-highschool education, and rarely in anything other than military tactics.
Infrastructure
There is a sprawling network of tunnels and paths throughout Stabaki, aiding with their military prowess. There are several ports along the eastern and western edges of the country, although the western ports are rarely used due to the severe weather of the Dread Tides. There are also a few "communication hubs" throughout the country, where a mage casts sending and allows customers to communicate with any creature, anywhere. Stabaki also has working sewage and water systems, directly from the Misty Marine.

Gazetteer
The nation of Stabaki stretches from Blazing Ridge to Sleepy Hill, and then diagonally to Grus Pit.
Currency
The official currency of Stabaki is silver- a coin engraved with markings determined by the Silver Captain, made of pure silver.
Major Exports
Stabaki has an abundance of natural resources, which are exported throughout Beland. They also have a large industry of slavery, with some of the main buyers being Itala and partially Virbo. Itala commonly uses them as servants for the wealthy, or ice miners on The Bergs. Virbo uses them as field hands in the smaller fields (not in the Ivory Fields.)
Major Imports
Common imports of Stabaki include wyvern meat from Kiamaco, food from Virbo, and weapons from Mystdale (currently inoperable).
Much of the population requires food- with Stabaki having the largest population, they require large amounts of food from other countries, as it does not produce enough to feed itself. They also require weapons from Mystdale standardly, but recently have been able to purchase such weapons, and have manufactured weapons themselves.
Legislative Body
The laws are made by the Clan, standardly by a vote. If a law passes the vote by everyone agreeing, then it is passed. If not everyone agrees, the Chief decides. Due to the Captains commonly not coming to a unanimous decision, the Chief standardly decides.
Judicial Body
There are judges for each city, but if a decision cannot be reached, it comes before the Judge Captain, who has never made an unfair judgment.
Executive Body
There is rarely crime in Stabaki, and as such, there is a small force of one thousand sentries throughout the nation.
