Culture
The culture of Itala varies depending on which side you're on, but there are a few similarities:
While these are similarities, not everyone in Itala follows these rules, and it is just a stereotypical view. For example, someone from Itala could be heavily religious, and welcome all people equally. This does not mean they aren't Italan, they are just different from the majority.
- Typically egotistical and looks down upon immigrants and other races
- Aloof and independent, with little to no family ties
- Typically not religous
- They value possessions and material wealth above all, usually

Public Agenda
The public agenda of Itala is to continue the economic prosperity of the nation and stay neutral during the Stabaki-Mystdale war.
Assets
The nation of Itala is the wealthiest in Beland, with over 60,000,000,000,000,000 Yol. They have a relatively small military, but rarely have to use it due to their arcane specializations.
History
In 26342, the nation of Itala changed its original name from Koim to Itala.
Demography and Population
Most of the population resides in either Lockshurst, the capital, or Ideta. Ideta is a large city with over three million residents, known for its craftsmen.
Territories
The territory of Itala is mostly tundra, with little to no flora or fauna. They also have the northern coast of Beland, Ice Ledge. However, these ships are treacherous to traverse, as there are several large icebergs.
Military
Itala has a relatively small military, but is still extremely powerful, due to the fact that they are all extremely experienced spellcasters.
Foreign Relations
Itala and Stabaki have several formal agreements and are close allies, while Itala and Edor have had a dispute for some time now. Edor does not attack, however, because they do not believe they can fight in the blistering cold of Itala. Itala does not invade Edor due to the lack of good transportation routes and wish not for conflict. They have had several disagreements in the past and continue to this day, however.
Agriculture & Industry
Itala trades quite a few things and especially deals in refined materials and objects. They deal usually in the following products & exports:
- Furniture, and other artisan goods
- Ice
- Stones
- Potions
- Oil
Trade & Transport
Itala commonly crosses through Stabaki to deliver goods, or risk the perilous journey through the Bergs.
Education
Itala is the most educated country, beating Kiamaco because of pure financial prosperity. The colleges do cost ridiculous sums of money, but citizens are usually so wealthy that these costs hardly dent their financial status. Most citizens of Itala have a masters degree in some field, typically business and commerce or medicine.
Infrastructure
Itala has extremely good infrastructure throughout the country and is well-maintained and regulated.

Major Exports
Itala exports large amounts of ice, stone, and artisan goods to several countries such as Kiamaco, where the ice is in large demand to combat the desert heat. Or Stabaki, where they rarely refine goods themselves, and are in large demand of artisan goods for the upper class.
Major Imports
Itala is a major importer of slaves and trades millions of them a year with Stabaki. These slaves are commonly used to mine mass amounts of ice & stone, and sometimes to gather potion ingredients. They also import agricultural products, as they cannot produce these themselves in the tundra.
