While skin tone may vary slightly, Pariah are the result of a 1000 years of the people of the Old World interbreeding to one more unified appearance.
After The Plague and the eruption of Yellowstone, refugees to Europe and the indigenous populations were dwindled down to small numbers, leading to more mixed race children. Over the course of time these differences shrunk until they became known simply as "Pariah".
