Hukam isn't so much an individual, as they are an extension of their massive sabre, taking on the name of the blade upon vanquishing the former owner.
Bearing the blade carries the responsibilities of a
Jakaih, and with it the life of study and refinement of techniques with the weapon.
Wielders
The wielders have etched their initials into the blade, cementing their bond with the weapon. Pouring through reports and documents sheds light on some of the wielders.
Hukam the First: "HH"
We have little information on the first wielder of the blade, other than they first wielded the blade in the Dark Age. Our assumption is that the original wielder was likely the weapon's forging smith, as the initials appear to have been stamped.
Hukam the Second: "ZtF"
It is believed the Second is none other than Zufran the Fierce, an individual mentioned in multiple stories in the desert. Zufran is one of the earliest recorded legends of the desert, a shadowy
Fox-kin that defended travelers on the roads. Her death has never been recorded, so we can only assume she either lost a duel, or simply passed away and the blade was looted.
Hukam the Third: "3"
We have no information on this wielder, but the crude etching of the number indicates they may have been a bandit, or a more crude wielder of the weapon.
Hukam the Fourth: "Tal"
No information
Hukam the Fifth: "HR"
No information
Hukam the Sixth: "TS"
The Sixth came about sometime after the construction of
Oasis, and we have record of a burly
Pariah wielding an oversized sabre with a series of etchings in the spine of the weapon. His various armor plate purchases indicate he is the origin of the weapon's earliest defensive techniques.
Hukam the Seventh: "MD"
We have no information on this wielder, but the difference in wear between this etching and the previous initials indicates the blade was lost for a period of time, and restored by this wielder.
Hukam the Eighth: "SS"
While we do not have a proper name for this wielder, he is known to be a
Naja, and is considered to be one of the major contributors to the weapon's techniques. His time with the blade was long, and was succeeded by his apprentice.
Hukam the Ninth: "YS" Yarun the Swift
Yarun is credited with being the first wielder of Hukam to teach its techniques outside of apprenticeship, and would take on multiple apprentices during his time with the blade. Yarum would be succeeded by one of his apprentices.
Hukam the Tenth and later
Unfortunately Hukam has not been seen since Yarun's time, but rumors matching the weapon's design and fighting style make their way to Oasis every now and then, leaving evidence of the weapon's continuing legacy.
