Madame Vance is a Lunar Seer, a member of an esoteric religious order that venerate the moon and practice divination and aura reading. Being of the Gibbous rank as denoted by her mask, her expertise in the occult and her predictions are matched by very few outside the order and she's often found lending her aid to causes the Order deems worthy. As such, she's one of the most mobile of the order and has lent aid to both The Century Group and The Vigil in the past.
