Sir Vasldor Raum
Defender of the Flower Kingdom, Knight of Resolve & Freedom
Vasldor Raum, hailed as “the greatest knight to ever live,” and whilst he wasn't by any means the strongest or most feared he was what Kaiser Vridi, Founder of the Vridium Empire considered the greatest. Vasldor journeyed to Baephios from the continent of Arasaka alongside his closest friend, Kaiser Vridi, long before Demon Lord Krane seized control of Arasaka. Where Kaiser dreamed of conquest and empire, Vasldor longed only for freedom, a life shaped by the gods, unburdened by oppression, and rooted in harmony with nature. Though he promised to aid Kaiser in his ambitions, Vasldor’s only condition was a strict refusal of unnecessary bloodshed. That shared vision kept the two bound together as brothers in arms, until Vasldor found something far greater than adventure, love.
Meeting Celestia Orchanis, the gentle queen of the Flower Kingdom in northern Baephios, Vasldor abandoned his life of conquest, dedicating himself to her and her peaceful people. Together, they cultivated a sprawling garden meant to symbolize hope for their unborn child and their kingdom’s future. When Kaiser’s empire unknowingly burned the Flower Kingdom to the ground, destroying everything, and everyone, Vasldor loved. Vasldor stood alone before Kaiser’s vast army, refusing to yield as he guarded the last remnant of their life together, the flower garden. Struck by arrows, Vasldor rose again and again, his unbreakable will shaking Kaiser to his core. Choosing restraint over rage, Kaiser called off his conquest and later immortalized Vasldor by founding Vasldor, Free Nation of the Empire, ensuring his friend’s ideals endured even after his death.
Their brotherhood went one to be recorded as a pivitol moment in Baephios history, taught throughout schools in the Vridium Empire to this day, a story titled, "The Tale of Two Brothers"
