Råra ([ˈɹa.ɹæ])

In the Years of the Snails, Råra captured the many snails that lived in the lake. They were harvested in large scale farming practices and the dyes that could be extracted from some of their bodily glands was very rich and bright in color. Because the dye was so time-extensive and exhaustive to produce, the dyes were precious and expensive and much foreign trade was based on these snails.
Pigs and goats were domesticated and farmed. Goats were used for milk, meat, fur, and leather; pigs were used for meat, their bristles (used to make brushes), and for pigs' ability to tread seeds into the ground. They were thus part of the agricultural processes.
Natural Resources
During the Years of the Snails, snails were their most precious resource. Later, as time went on, the lake itself became one of the foremost places where water is available, so that became a resource as the continued.
