Toldrun's Shoulders

Toldrun's Shoulders are a large mountain range in southwestern Ayndrinor. They form the eastern border of the Toldrun See and the western border of The Dale. This mountain range was considered part of the Legobar Mountains for a long time, but in the last several centuries the followers of Toldrun began renaming everything around the See in honor of their deity. No one is quite sure where the "shoulders" part of this place name comes from, but it's a name that has stuck within the See and beyond. Apart from certain sections of the Backbone Spires, Toldrun's Shoulders boast some of the tallest mountains on Ayndrinor, with a great many peaks enjoying some snow cover year-round. Possibly the most well-known fact about the mountain range is that it is home to the Holy City of Toldrun, previously known as Gel Eamoni, which is located in the tunnels and caves below the western part of the mountain range.
