With 9 Purple tentacles connected to the brain, these creatures Have no eyes, but they can still see. some mind flayers have the closest relations to the Illithorids.   it is believed there are only 9 of them in the world, and there has only been 9. These creatures are believed to be immortal, as their skin is stronger than adamantine. It is believed these creatures are native to the far realm, and some think they may have created a portal to some far off-planet, and that is why meteors will sometimes yield Adamantine. one of the astonishing abilities of them is that they can destroy adamantine with a single thought, an ability that has baffled the scholars and sages for many years. not much is know about these, and more info will be explained after our scholars and sages learn more.
