Sub Capital Overview
"Becoming the captain of a sub-capital is a challenge, if that's why you're asking about them. Though becoming a crewmember on one is less so, though you still need to know a lot for it. I'll tell you what I know about them in general..."
Medium-large vessels, while not as mass-produced as Strike-Craft and a bit harder to obtain, they are still fairly common to see.
Frigates
"Frigates are usually outfitted for moving around and putting out a lot of damage. Crews are usually fairly small, only being a handful of people at most. But they can also be some of the deadliest things around. If you're a Strike-Craft Pilot they're one of the more terrifying things to meet on the wrong side of a fight. Even Destroyers and lighter Cruisers are cautious of groups ganging up on them."Standard Hull: Frigate, Rough Size: 90-120m/98-131yd

Light Attack Frigate - Similiar to Heavy Gunships, Light Attack Frigates are weapon platforms meant for dealing as much damage to hostile ships quickly. However, their design sacrifices armor in favor of speed and maneuverability over armor or shielding. Meaning if they do get hit, there isn't much to mitigate the damage done, and if their engines are hit, they're as good as dead.
