Their skin tones range across vivid shades such as crimson, violet, cobalt, obsidian black, dark blue or orange. Their eyes are always vibrant in color gold, red, emerald, violet , blue and marked by narrow slit pupils. demon all have two horns they grow small or big stright up or cruve to the back.
Biological Traits
Demonoids do not naturally manifest magic. However, when trained in spellcasting or martial techniques, their bodies seem to amplify the results.
- Spellcasting Amplification: A simple fireball cast by a demonoid is often twice as powerful as the same spell cast by a human.
- Skill Enhancement: Physical techniques, weapon skills, and martial arts also benefit from this amplification, granting them greater impact with less effort.
- Durability: Their tough skin provides minor resistance against natural hazards and physical blows, giving them an advantage in harsh climates.
Ecology and Habitats
Demonoids prefer warm, dry climates, thriving in deserts, rocky plains, and arid hills. Their slightly cold blooded physiology makes cold regions uncomfortable, though magical attire or fire based abilities can offset this. Settlements are often fortified stone or clay cities built around oases or volcanic regions.
Behaviour
Demonoids are not inherently evil; they are simply another people of Averia, often misunderstood due to their appearance. Their natural tendencies lean toward:
- Cunning: They instinctively look for angles, strategies, and opportunities in any situation.
- Cleverness: Demonoids are quick-witted, often outsmarting stronger foes through guile.
- Insight: They are naturally observant, with sharp instincts about people and surroundings.
