History
Wyott, a Monk of the Way of the Kensei, brings a lighthearted energy and playfulness into Eclipse’s life. His fun and relaxed nature often lightens the atmosphere, and she finds him enjoyable to be around even with their limited interactions. Wyott’s ability to blend discipline with a carefree spirit fascinates her, showing her that strength doesn’t always have to be stern. His playful attitude is refreshing, and he feels like a breath of fresh air to Eclipse, who sees him as someone who can teach her to embrace joy and spontaneity. Eclipse sees Wyott as her playful and fun-loving uncle. Although she hasn’t spent a lot of time with him, she admires his ability to find enjoyment and fun even in serious pursuits. Wyott’s attitude helps her see that strength can be joyful, and she appreciates his lightheartedness as a way to balance the more serious sides of life.
History
"Wyott feels like the closest thing I have to another brother. He’s headstrong, reckless at times, with a knack for getting into the dumbest situations just because he felt like it. And yet, I wouldn’t trade him for the world. There’s something about his energy, that light in his eyes—it’s contagious, and it makes me want to believe things can be better, even when everything feels heavy. I care about Wyott deeply, like an older sister would, though I’d never admit it to his face. I see too much of myself in him—how he tries to hide his feelings behind that carefree smile, how he carries the weight of the world alone even when he doesn’t have to. If I could say anything to him, it would be this: 'Hey, Wyott, it’s okay to feel things. It’s okay to let yourself feel, and you don’t have to do it all alone.' I want him to be happy, to take care of himself in the way he deserves. He has so much to give, and he doesn’t even realize it. If I could, I’d shield him from all the pain and keep him safe from the world, but I know that’s not my place. Still, I’ll be here for him, however I can. He’s family to me, and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do to see him thrive."
History
"He is dumb as bricks, and I hope he knows that. I don’t say it to be cruel—I say it because I care. Gods be damned, Wyott gets himself into the most ridiculous trouble, and half the time I’m convinced he does it on purpose just to test my patience. If I didn’t know better, I’d swear he and Rowan were truly brother and sister with the way they charge into danger without a second thought. But here’s the thing—I love him like a brother, and because of that, I feel like I’m constantly holding my breath, waiting for the day one of his harebrained schemes goes too far. He’s brave, sure, but bravery without a hint of caution is just a quicker path to an early grave. He doesn’t seem to realize that his actions have ripples. If he ever got himself killed, it wouldn’t just hurt me—it would devastate Rowan. And if he makes Rowan cry because of some reckless, idiotic stunt, I swear I will drag his sorry soul back from the other side. He’ll beg for forgiveness before I’m done with him, I promise you that. Wyott, you’ve got a good heart, but you’ve got to learn to think before you act. Please, for all our sakes, take a moment to stop and consider the consequences of your actions. I’ve lost too many people I care about. I’ve buried too much family already, and I can’t do it again. I need you to live. Not just for me, but for everyone who loves you—Rowan, the rest of the party, and yourself. You’re a light in this group, a constant source of hope and laughter. Don’t extinguish that light. Learn to protect it, nurture it, and keep it shining for all of us. Because despite all the frustration you cause me, I wouldn’t trade you for anything. You’re family, Wyott, and that means I’ll always care for you, no matter how much you drive me mad. So, for once in your life, listen to me: stay alive, stay safe, and stop making me worry so damn much.
