Rowan Krishna Belfire

Rowan has a toned physique due to her training as a monk and due to her being controlled to collect debts for a certain person she managed to maintain her physique and strength even during the three years she traveled searching for the man she wanted to kill

Along with her toned physique Rowan carries scars from her past as a debtor and during her time on the bloodthirsty path of vengeance of these scars most notably is a burn all across her lower back that was given to her when Shadow kicked her into a burning wall

She has horns that are black from its base and blood red at the tips and a tail that typically is wrapped around her waist when in combat

Despite Rowans upbringing as a monk she does not wear traditional monk robes and instead chose to sport more open clothing so that she wouldnt be constricted.

Rowan does wear two cursed Gauntlets being the items Beowulf and Agni a gaunlet of ice and fire. The gauntlent Agni often leaves Rowan uncomftorble so she will typically use the gauntlent Beowulf.

For weapons Rowan typically carries two, she used to carry a battle axe and her greatsword but now she uses her Kanabo's as well as her greatsword on her back Due to Rowans disliking of her sword currently she has vowed only to use the blade when her patron deems it nessicary.

Currently Rowan carries a staff made of metal with gold embroidered tips and her kanubos

Rowan feels that she failed her friends when she made the deal with Rictavio to kill the Vastani for information on the man she was looking for.

Rowan also after much reflection feels as though she failed the twins Irena and Ismark when they abondoned them and left both to turn into vampires by Strahd

Currently Rowan knows she has failed what was meant to be training from her god Rhiannon and therefore has been mostly training with Senna and Shadow till she feels she is ready to face Rhiannon again

Rowan likes her friends and allies and ofen finds their company pleasent she hopes that theyll be together soon so that they can have many more adventures.

Rowan likes Adventuring and learning more about the world as well as finding some good treasure

Rowan doesnt like fire due to severe PTSD

Rowan also currently does not like her Greatsword as it constantly reminds her of how she was in the past

Rowan dislikes the man who is now trapped within her and secretly hopes the gods will wish for the mans redeption to occur upon death.

While Rowan used to wish for the death of Shadow she has since trying to walk the path of forgiveness and while she still struggles slightly with it she does try her best to treat shadow as an ally rather than an enemy even to the point of being upset she can't let him roam free upon returning to Eire.

Upon reuniting with Kirishna Senna the two had a heartfelt conversation in the garden laying the ground work of what would become the start of their relationship. During their time in the demi plane this relationship blossomed into a full romance where the two confessed their feelings and conceived two children.

Naoise- Sister:Naoise is someone Rowan considers family, the 2nd person who Rowan met on her journey through Barovia, through the near death battles to some of the conversations Rowan has had with Naoise she's grown close to her and only wishes to help her, much like Wyott she hates letting Naoise down and hopes to live up to any expectations she has of her.

After the two of them found out they were pregnant Rowan felt a bit closer to Naoise and also relieved that she wasn't the only one going through this though there is a sense of sadness that Rowan feels towards Naoise as she knows that while she has Senna, Naoise doesnt have Victor anymore.

So Rowan has made a promise to help Naoise get Victor back with all of her power.

Wyott- brother: The first person Rowan met during their travels to Barovia and the the one Rowan feels closest to besides Kirishna Senna, the two met in the carridge that transported the group to Strahds domain. Through conversations of shared experiences growing up as monks and the constant life or death experiences Rowan regards Wyotts opinions and decisions highly always willing to help him no matter the cost. Rowan also at one point felt she was developing feelings for Wyott but clsince the two had just met she decided to let those feelings be buried deep down though she still has some feelings for Wyott.

faefine- sister: Faefine and Dayla were the last two that appeared in cartridge that brought the group to barovia while Rowan didn't have much of a chance to have one on one conversations with both at the beginning of their journey. After the vastani camp Rowan felt began to feel horrible for all she had done and the problems she began to cause her allies with the fey but felt immense gratitude to Faefine when they restored vision to her left eye. Ever since then she's tried to make up her mistakes from their time in barovia and not let down faefine.

Dayla- Sister: Rowan felt her a Dayla had a rough start together from her killing the Vastani to the issues with the fey Rowan made a promise to Dayla that once her memories were returned to her shed finally give an explanation to her but after two long years away from her she became surprised when Dayla hugged her and heard that she was worried about her. From there Rowan felt that there relationship had grown better and stronger.

Though when the two first met Rowan felt that she couldn't live up to her strength, Dayla had an unmatched strength that Rowan felt she would never be able to reach and even now seeing her go toe to toe with Archimedes Rowan respects her so much and the strength she carries

Nightgale- Friend: Rowan met Nightgale when her and victor had been sent to the garden. She wasnt sure how to feel about Nightgale at first but figured since Dayla and Senna trusted her that it was fine. Quickly however Rowan realized how reliable she is from helping Dayla and Faefine to helping Senna train after the death of Victor, Rowan trusts Nightgale and hopes that the two of them can eventually get closer.

Matthias ally- again another person Rowan felt she had a rocky start with how archimedes had shown up and their fight, Rowan for a while wasn't sure if her party and at that point wasn't sure if her, Wyott, and Naoise would be able to adventure with Matthias and co. But after a few gestures and a bonding experience within the gambling island she now trusts Matthias more than she did and while she hasn't gotten close to him compared to Victor and Elara does hope eventually the two will be able to form some bond.

Victor- brother: one of the first members of the group Suzsa introduced the party to, at first she didn't trust Victor and Matthias unsure of how they'd take her cursed form,but after a few drinks and talking of the past she grew to trust Victor quite a bit, a trust that grew even more when the two were cast to the Garden. Rowan felt that after a death defying experience like that she could truly trust him much like she did the others. When Victor died Rowan felt frustrated, another person she cared about died and she was powerless to do a thing but for the sake of those she loved she tried to stay strong.

Elara-ally probably the first members of the others party that Rowan feels she got off on the right foot with, Rowan feels Elara is easy to talk to despite an air of mystery about her. Her emotions seemingly a mystery as one moment she can be serious and the next joking. It's a change of pace Rowan can find enjoyable in the right times and frustrating in other times. Despite all of that Rowan does feel that there is a level of mutual respect between the two and hopes they can get closer.

Acacious-ally: the last member of the other party Rowan met, though Rowan had known Acacious was apart of Victor since the garden but she still feels a slight sting of pain seeing Acacious after the death of Victor. Though she feels bad that all the times she's given advice on a problem to Acacious it's been rather harsh from her telling him it was his choice whether Victor lived or died, to even her sparring match with him telling him to stop acting like Victor, but Rowan feels it might be necessary for Acacious to grow, though she keeps a close eye on Acacious out of curiosity and also worry as she's seen what becomes of people who lose themselves to rage.

Suzsa- mother figure: while Rowan didn't not get that long of a time to spend with Suzsa compared to the others Rowan can't help.but have felt a bit of a mother's love when she did talk to her, from when Rowan asked for advice to just small talk it was something that she wasnt used to and when Susza died to Archimedes she felt guilty trying to stop the others from helping her and taking him on, bringing that pain to the others. Now Rowan just wishes to make Suzsa proud and not fall to her old ways

Shadow- Ward and ally: the most complicated relationship that Rowan has besides the one she has with archimedes. Shadow the man who burned down her home,killed many of her family and trapped her father for 3 years. Rowan truly hated this man, following in what she thought was his trail for years after getting out of archimedes' ranks. All for the chance at revenge. Though when finally the opportunity came where she was face to face with him she threw out a last effort for strength to strike him down, instead the two became linked and outcome that was less desirable to Rowan. During this time Rowan treated Shadow more like a prisoner rather than someone she had to redeem but that came to an end when the two shared a heart to heart and hated out issues they held with one another. Now she treats shadow as someone to go to for advice and training trying to look past the events that happened to them when she was younger but instead looking towards the future. Rowan tends to now feel bad whenever she sends shadow back into the brand seeing it as a prison but often will promise him that he'll be let out when it's safer.

Rhiannon-God(patron?): the One who granted Rowan powers and strength as a paladin, Rowan tries her best to keep Rhiannon proud to call her one of her paladins though feels she often times fails at this, constantly thinking about their last encounter and the lesson she was trying to teach Rowan, she I determined to not let down her god and see through the path of redemption.

Rowan felt relieved seeing Rhiannon bless the ring her father made for her as it symbolized that she had not yet given up on Rowan, giving her newfound determination she will be someone Rhiannon was proud to offer powers of oath to.

Kirishna Senna-husband: "what more can be said of this man, one i care about so much, when i first met him back in Barovia and hearing about the armor i can't explain it but i genuinely felt like i needed to help him, taking away the armor and taking that burden from him.

From their i felt that our fate together was sealed hoping we'd meet him again and when we came across him fighting a false hydra i couldn't hold back i had to help him i didn't want him to die so, i wanted to keep fighting side by side with him, i could tell he carried a weight similar to mine but i never knew how to approach it.

Senna is strong and gives me reason to not throw away my life, i dont know what i would do without Senna he's the rock that anchors me when i feel myself get a little too lost through my struggles. I can see his own pain and struggle and getting to know him more and more i just want to be the anchor for him as well. someone he can rely on and trust with any problems he has.

I'm glad that out of everyone i couldve started a family with it was him..i hope he knows how much i love him and how glad i have him in this life..and that no matter what come the mists or a new cycle i'll always find him and bring him back"

Loken Belfire- adoptive father: Loken belfire was originally the grandmaster of her monastery, once Rowan had been sold to them Loken took on the responsibility of training her and making sure she knew the ways of the astral self until one day when Rowan was around 9 years old he took up the task adopting her and training her giving her the new name Belfire.

From there Loken became more determined to training Rowan into one day becoming grandmaster.

When Rowan had thought Loken, her father and master was dead it sent her down a path of bloodshed and vengeance upon the man she believed was solely responsible for his death, and upon returning back to the monastery she was filled with so many emotions when she saw her father trapped there and desperate to not lose him again or Ardyn she made a last ditch effort to save him.

Ardyn-teacher and 2nd father figure: once Rowan had returned from barovia she had no memories of who she was and where she came from, that is where she met Ardyn a man who reminded her of her father though at the time she did not remember Loken, the two trained for many months and Rowan had begun to learn more about Ardyn and get closer to him becoming like another father to her.

eventually they went back to the burned down monastery together saving Loken and making the deal with Rhiannon.

After getting free of the monastery her, Ardyn, and Loken went to get the monastery rebuilt. She remembers their time together fondly often thinking back on his lessons and words she hopes to make him proud as his student and hopes she'll be able to see him alive again.

Rowan used to follow the lessons of Sah a god of the astral plane their lessons set me up on a path to one day take over the monastery i was raised in though im not sure how he feels about me now, giving up all the tennets of his teachings and then finding new found strength with a different god, maybe at some point ill reach out to him but my hopes arent too high.

Currently i follow the lessons and path set by Rhiannon the goddess of redemption while i feel like sometimes i dont get all of her lessons that she tries to teach me i still try my absolute best to uphold her teachings and make her not regret giving me the powers she has.
