What Is It?
Noxtech is the basic building block of all new technologies (as of 2733) used by humanity. It enables everything from simple applications to complex artificial intelligences, forming the backbone of communication systems, transportation, and even healthcare. As we continue to innovate, the importance of mastering Noxtech only grows deeper in our society.Divisions
Noxtech is divided into two distinct types: hardware, the "body", and software, the instructions.Hardware Noxtech
This kind of Noxtech is a physical state commonly referred to as a body. It has the ability to alter its physical properties — colour, size, shape, state of matter, etc. — to mimic an existing material or object or create a new one. Bodies can be controlled through instructions directly given by humans or autonomously through AI. In addition, they can operate individually, or in tandem with other bodies as necessary.
Hardware can also be instructed to react in ways that do not occur in nature. For example, hundreds of bodies composing a certain material—like a piece of cloth—can be programmed in such a way that their refractive indexes are adjusted to be different at multiple points on the cloth. Proper adjustments can lead to the creation of invisibility cloaks which are extensively used in stealth operations, whether for legal or illicit reasons.
In another example, millions of tiny bodies fitted with a reflective surface (these can come in several colours) can be programmed to tilt up and down in response to motion sensors creating a captivating dazzling and shimmering effect. This is often used in clothing by fashion designers and models to accentuate their works and appearance at fashion events and runways.
Software Noxtech
Software Noxtech are the instructions given to Hardware Noxtech and other machines and devices in order to make them function. Depending on its category, it can send previously-built-in special commands to the devices and machines they inhabit, such as vehicles, 3-D printers and robotic implants.
To give an example of how it works, let’s look at a wristwatch. When an item on its display is selected, its software command is activated and travels to an output node where it is released as hundreds, thousands or even millions (depending on the size and volume of the object) of tiny bodies which combine to form the item.
Note: the specific type utilized here is called Transformative software. As the name suggests, it is able turn into tangible objects when activated.
All categories of Software Noxtech, except for Transformative software, have no physical form. However, in visual media like pictures and movies, they are portrayed as a series of interconnected shapes; the type of shape depends on the classification of software shown.

The first iteration of Noxtech was brought into the world in 2649 and made its first public appearance in the 7th Intriguing & Innovative Tech Showcase (currently known as the Nesudiun Tech Expo & Galleria, where it was heavily pushed as a simple and efficient way of inventing more advanced technologies. People paid little mind, considering the technology "unremarkable" and "unimpressive".
However, as decades passed, the capabilities of Noxtech began to evolve, every tweak, fixes and updates revealing its potential beyond initial expectations. By the 45th Intriguing & Innovative Tech Showcase, it had transformed into a powerful tool that captured the attention of inventors and investors alike, sparking a boom in technological advancements. This newfound interest propelled a wave of start-ups dedicated to leveraging Noxtech's unique functionalities, leading to breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
By the time 2733 rolled around, the once-dismissed program quickly became a cornerstone of innovation, reshaping industries and igniting a culture of creativity that resonated throughout society.
And all of this was achieved by one man.

Hacking (v, n): the purposeful usage or exploitation of CODE's weaknesses for moral or immoral purposes.The war against malicious hackers has been ongoing for centuries as their manipulation can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information, data breaches, and significant disruptions to systems and other technology. As such, it is imperative to continuously assess and enhance the security measures protecting CODE, one of such being--in a ironic twist--hacking. It is now widely recognized that, despite its harmful drawbacks, hacking can serve as an effective method for identifying vulnerabilities in CODE early on. By employing ethical hacking techniques, organizations can proactively address potential security threats before they are exploited by malicious persons. This proactive approach ultimately leads to a more robust and resilient cybersecurity posture.
Meta Notes: Inspiration
This technology idea has been in my head for almost a month but I had no idea how something like this could work.
That was until someone suggested I read about nanotechnology.
This ended up helping out a bunch, mainly because it introduced me to progammable matter, which is a piece of matter than change its physical properties based on user input or autonomous sensing.
It is the major inspiration for Hardware CODE.
