N.A.N.O.

Nyathi's Are Never Alone (N.A.N.O) is a national charity dedicated to ending the segregation, prejudism and mistreatment of Nyathi in Caso City. They have been at the forefront of change for the Nyathi people who have displaced from their homeland in the Eye of Auros. For almost a decade N.A.N.O have worked tirelessly to empower the voices of Nyathi, encouraging the cities populace to treat them as equals and to grant them the same rights as every other being in the city.

Founded in response to the First Nyathi Movement over a decade ago when several protests and demonstration ended with many Nyathi being executed for speaking out against prejudicial political practices. Many believed that the Nyathi were used to set an example for the rest of the population and that change was needed to restore faith in the crown. The aim for N.A.N.O is to end any practices by both the government and independent business that unfairly mistreat or exclude the Nyathi. This includes refusal of service, employment or entrance into an otherwise public building. Exclusion from basic services like medical aid, government housing and emergency services when in need.

N.A.N.O works with local businesses to ensure any Nyathi has a place they are able to work, buy food and be included in society. They also provide therapeutic services to help Nyathi adjust to city life and talk about their problems or needs. These services come in the form of group sessions or one on one help. N.A.N.O also works with other cities to provide housing in more hospitable environments for those who wish to leave Caso City. Long term communication and check ins are still offered to those who wish to leave the city, and no questions are asked when this is requested.

N.A.N.O also petitions the cities council to change the law to enforce equal rights or at least apply pressure to businesses who still discriminate against the Nyathi. A recent achievement for NA.N.O is to have a Nyathi representative on the current Kings Council. The current King is more progressive than the last and has arranged many meetings with N.A.N.O to see what steps can be made to encourage change within the city. Both however understand that chance in Caso City is slow and that sudden changes will be met with resilience and rebellion.
