Kati Kun
Kati Kun is the realm between realms. It is where all Farilin are born, and the place some still call home. Only Farilin can travel to and from Kati kun, and they do so through spontaneous cracks that manifest randomly around Auros. These cracks can be tracked by Farilin due to them being able to see a wider range of colours on the visual spectrum.
The realm itself seems never-ending and to date no Farilin has ever taken the time to map its land masses and oceans. Some reports state that the shifts in the tectonic plates are so common that it would be nearly impossible to do so, as once you had finished the map, the world would have shifted so much as to make it obsolete.
There is one city that is consistent however, Kitu, the city in the cliffs. Almost all Farilin can trace their lineage to this city. It was originally carved into a cliff face and has been expanding ever since, now covering over 100 miles. The cliff is also home to a reversing waterfall, which the Farilin use to power most of the buildings in Kitu, though new technology is emerging to make them less reliant on the waterfall.
Geography
Kati Kun is a land of mountains and waterfalls, with chasms as deep as the eye can see and forests that stretch over the horizon. Thin rivers separate the landmasses of Kati kun, providing fresh water to the local populous and a wide range of aquatic creatures. Not a single plot of land in Kati Kun is uninteresting; there is always something to marvel at, and while this place would be a wonder for any other species, for Farilin, it is just the way it has always been.
Localized Phenomena
A sentient storm the Farilin call Kakari roams the lands. It bristles with green lightning and strikes the earth with a shattering boom. No one knows its purpose or how it chooses where it goes, but it has been present in every historical record the Farilin have.
The Farilin fear Kakari and its green lightning, so much so that an entire organisation was made in order to track the storm and its trajectory. Mortals of Auros would consider the Farilin immortal due to their long lives and resistances, however a strike from Kakari is lethal to any Farilin, with no remains left in its wake.
The waterfall at the center of Kitu flows upwards, and as far as any Farilin can tell is unique in both Kati Kun and Auros. It predates all records with some historians believing that the waterfall is what keeps Kakari at bay.
The latest record keeping however has stated the waterfall is slowing down, and that this could mean the end for both Kitu and all of Kati Kun.
