Kaska Kun
Kaska Kun is in the northernmost region of Auros, it is less of a land and more of a giant glacier floating above the continent . Its lack of connected landmass and chaotic currents swirling beneath it has meant the terrain of Kaska Kun has shifted dramatically over time. Both earthquakes and underground volcanoes has impacted the terrain of Kaska Kun. As two large bodies of ice collide one must give to the other and either shoot upwards into the sky, causing great monoliths of frozen water, shattering what little light across the land. Or, it must collapse under the weight, collapsing into the water underneath, this causes immense tidal waves to scatter across local town or cities. This process is most prevalent in the "summer" months on Kaska Kun, where the ice has begun to melt or be chipped away. During the colder months, that same ice that fell into the water begins to refreeze, continuing the cycle once more.
Geography
The ever rotating land mass of Kaska Kun means that it changes from one week to the next, especially in the warmer months of the year. Any exploration done in the caves or tunnel systems beneath the ice must be completed in the winter seasons, and must be completed within a 6-9 month period due to safety concerns for the excavators.
There are ice hills in the eastern quadrant of Kaska Kun that are noted to be some of the largest and most consistent ice sculptures in the region. Their translucency and jaggedness means that light reflects off of them in as strange way, causing dancing lights to speckle the ground beneath them. Some tribes of the northern lands view the lights as a message from the gods and will have festivities when they are at its brightest.
