Description

History

Nerissa’s Cradle was founded by High Oracle Nerissa Silvareth, a Water Genasi prophet who claimed to hear the voice of Geryu in her dreams. Guided by these visions, she led a group of faithful to a remote reef pulsing with divine energy. At its heart stood the Eterna Reef, a living coral tree that glowed with bioluminescence and bore magical fruit. Seeing it as a sign from the gods, Nerissa and her followers shaped their homes into the coral, forming a sanctuary for seafolk seeking refuge and purpose. The Cradle became known as a place of peace, prophecy, and oceanic harmony. After her passing, Nerissa was entombed beneath the Cradle Spring, where it’s said her spirit still grants visions to those who listen closely to the currents. Today, the city thrives as a spiritual hub—though whispers of unrest stir beneath the waves.
