Jakarna

A Jakarna is a medium-sized furry Osina , found on the coasts and rivers of The Ring . They have 6 limbs, each with a small hand equipped with claws. They mainly eat Korospot and small fish.

Basic Information

Anatomy

This species, with its 6 limbs, has a lot of muscle mass. It is therefore very swift and agile, being able to move very fast both in the water and on land.

Biological Traits

Female jakarna are significantly larger than the male counterparts, being roughly 20 kg heavier, and 0.6 meters longer. Their tails are more flat, and have more colour.

Genetics and Reproduction

A litter of jakarna pups can be from 4-20 in number.

Growth Rate & Stages

Baby jakarna pups are unable to find food on their own until they are about half a year old. Their parents feed them fish and small Korospot  to keep them nourished.

Ecology and Habitats

Jakarna live mainly on the banks of rivers, on the coast, and in marshlands. They build small dens in the mud or sand, and raise their pups here.

Dietary Needs and Habits

These creatures are entirely carnivorous, eating fish and small crustaceans.

They have a short snout, with whiskers, and large brown eyes. They have short, sharp teeth, used for catching their prey.
