The Hammer of the Ashfrost Emperor
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Even though its creation showed an ordinary hammer made of space rock that's billions of years old, inside it shifted into a mass of gears operating in 4 dimensions, spherical balls that seem to have no purpose but actually do contribute to its semi-sentience and link with the machines. However, during the fight with Malestrom, the backside of the hammer chipped, allowing vision into the intangible 4D gear matrix that is this hammer.
History
There are only 2 materials, the rod and the "striker"(the hammer), both made of 1 material. Lithi-Ulti and Darkmus, respectively. With the Lithi-Ulti rod, it came down to Augusta just as is, a rod as a perfect cylinder. As for the Darkmus striker, it had to be molded, forged, and ultimately struck with the fists of a man. After the arduous task of striking the hammer with fists, the creator of the hammer fell weary, sick, and ultimately fell to his death, not before having his life essence absorbed by the hammer.
A few moments after the creator was absorbed, a man by the name of Vidous would walk by and find it. Not knowing where the creator was or what the hammer was, he took it. A few years later, Vidous would leave his home and set off on an adventure to new lands, in search of a nice piece of land he could call his new home. During the sail over, however, he was encountered by a Lovecraftian sea monster, which should've been the demise of him and the hammer; however, with the grandiose power of the hammer, in 1 strike, the monster died and was absorbed into the hammer. Seeing this, Vidous kept it in mind as he sailed towards somewhere new, knowing now that the hammer can absorb life.
When Vidous set foot on land and went inland, around the halfway point during his travels, he encountered a cult, seemingly worshipping aimlessly at the sky, until the clouds turned dark as night and roared as strong as the roars of the sea during a storm. It was a stormlord, named Maelstrom, and the cultists praised and praised Maelstrom, calling for it to kill Vidous and his heretic hammer. Maelstrom cast down a great bolt of lightning, so powerful it caused the dirt to quake and the sea to quiver, but the lightning was never stopping, seemingly being sucked in by the hammer as Vidous used it to defend himself. As Maelstorm was being sucked into the hammer, the cultists started trying to break the hammer with their stone hammers, but it was futile. Along with Maelstrom, the cultists were absorbed into the hammer-albeit with the backside of the hammer suffering a small chip-and Vidous could continue his journey to the land which would become the Vidia Ultimus Luix.
The day before Vidous would find the tribe Kul-ahk-da-linza, he encountered a tritenipede, miles long and wide, but at this point, the hammer gained a semi-sentient mind and killed the tritenipede before it even had a chance to show its power. Right after that, in about 58 hours, the tribe of Kul-ahk-da-linza was discovered by Vidous, which is where the famous duel took place that asserted the leadership of Vidous over his future palace & city.
As of today, the hammer now resides as an artifact, occasionally used to fix old machines or create new ones with the unlimited power it's absorbed throughout the years.
Significance
To Vidous, it is one of his most prized possessions, being the only thing that actually saved him from the monsters that would've killed him at any point in time. To the Vidian people it matters, but not to the personal extent that Vidous has. It is merely a relic of a time they did not see, but want to know about.

The materials are billions of years old, but the item itself was created around the 6700s BCE
