Bragor
The Pillar of Hastarrii
Bragor is one of the Draukeng who is skilled in martial combat and is known for his use of magic, particularly his ability to shapeshift into monstrous animals such as bears, wolves, a huge black bird and a great serpent. Bragor is skilled in hand-to-hand combat when not in animal form and possesses a skill which allows him to enter a trance-like fury where he remains in his natural form but possesses the strength and agility of his animal counterparts. Argyon Keng is capable of a similar power, but can only turn into a great bear.
It should be mentioned that while Bragor has mastered this magic, the other Draukeng are capable of changing their forms. This includes Díamane, who changes into a wolf or great hound, but has also been known to change into other smaller creatures in order to spy, like a raven. Qelvúnr, whom Bragor taught himself, became a beautiful white antlered deer who could gallop as fast as a bird could dive. King Tantarma, intrigued by the magic that Bragor wielded, asked him to teach him the power, so Bragor did, and Tantarma became an immense horned bull and a humanoid bear hybrid that could stand tall on its hind legs and sweep with long claws like spears.
