"He'd achieved a lot in his 91 years and was the last of his original family of four to survive - but he lives on in his children and memories of Winterwatch." - Hiro Diederich-Yukimura, 834 F.

Airo Yukimura lived until the ripe age of 91. He was most noted for his creations of prosthetic limbs across Glaiburg and within Winterwatch, the creation of The Worker's Union.   On the day of his death, his husband (Hiro Diederich-Yukimura) said that he seemed to realise that his end was coming. Instead of doing something grand and big to finish his life off - he simply asked to spend the day with his husband with no interruptions.   He passed in his sleep in the late hours of the day. His husband, though grieving and clearly distraught, arranged his funeral with elegance and grace. Two weeks after his death, his husband decided to follow. Their friends often remarked that they were definitely together in the afterlife.
