Our hereos continue their journey and succesfully slay the Chul gathering its eggs with the help of an ancient ritual of the Bullywug. They continue traveling south the island of Esmir where they find a crashed Nautiloid.
Our heroes decide to follow the Bullywug that attacked them in the night in hopes of a diplomatic solution, hopefully some sort of lead to defeat the Chul.
Traveling onto the island of Volin'tar and following the trail left behind by the wounded survivors they find a entire village of Bullywug living is houses made of mushrooms. At the center of this village a massive stone pit that goes into darkness.
The heroes speak with Cheif Ulah'boo of the village of Slingrout. Who gave them knowledge and aid in exchange for the promise of part of the spoiles, part of the Chul itself.
Cheif Ulah'boo tells them of an ancient ritual of their people that would bistow the ability to breath beneath the waves by sacrificing a creature of the forest into the pit, a massive panther.
In the night the heroes head into the jungle and hunt the beast bringing it back to the village in time for the Moonlight Ritual. Swirling enegies emerged from the pit and specks of green light like snow fell to the village. The Bullywug and party opened their mouths to accept the gift of the pit. This gift fully healed the heroes and left a strange sensation giving them the ability to breath underwater for an entire week.
With this new found ability and restored strength our heroes head into the sunken temple that is now the home of the Chul and deafeat it in glorious combat. Bringing its body, 100s of eggs, and valuable treasure back to the S.S. Glimmervale.
This sunken temple seems very old and appeared to have some sort of warding purpose based on the decayed language written upon its walls.
Successful in their mission out heroes continue joureing to the island of Esmir to investigate its mysterious fogs and locate the ship told to them by Bullyong. Leaving without fulfilling their promise to Chief Ulah'boo and the Bullywug of Slingrout.
Trying to travel deep into the fogs of Esmir the heroes tie themselves together in hopes of not getting loss but are quickly attacked by strange tendrils that attempt to pull them deeper into the mist. Their quick thinking helped them escape and decide to travel back to the ship and try sailing around the coast, seeing just off the southern coast of the island a massive snail-like structure laying on the shoreline partically buried in the sand with some vines grown over it.
