The Hell Beast & The Stone Speaks (Session 26)

The party prepare to head off to Mechanicus learning more about the Vladenkul Vampires as well as themselves. Culminating in the nature of Slickk being revealed as well as a voice eminating from the Runic Stone.

7/14/3121 (Rest of Day at Vladenkul)
Gael, Slickk, and Scar start off fighting the Lady of Lake and get the cursed blade, Strahd's Bane. Doesnt work out of water.
Nirx is snuck up on by Lancaster in forest on way back.
Constance is extremely drained from interacting with the Rune. Constance reveals drawing on rune to Lazurus and he later speaks with Gael about it with Nirx listening in.
While walking back from the Lady of the Lake Gael, Slickk, and Scar are snuck up on by Lancaster who speaks in on teh ideas of holding onto something once you've found it convencing Gael to reconnect fully with his father. However,not trusting the other vampires the party comes back together at castle but remeber they need to check on crew back at ship.
Constance and Slickk leave to check on ship but Slicck leaves Constance to go seek his fiendish deal with with Elenia at Crestfall convincing her to give up her immortal soul to him in exchange for Glory. She does so as she feel all hope to be lost.
Constance extremely drained from intereacting with the stone in approached by a white lion in the woods revealed to be Andrea who warns her about trusting others and leads her to the ship.
Clara and the burly men bring her on board and give her tea.
Slickk comes forwards worrying about constance shifts several times trying to explain himself finishing on the Baron, who angrily leaves after Constance, Clara, and teh Burly boys give him the cold shoulder.
Lazurus comes to the room where Scar, Nirx, and Gael sleep asking to speak with Gael who agrees. Confused by his winking Nirx follows them after alittle bit of time. Lazurus warns his son about the Runic Stone in Constance's possession saying it is extremely powerful and dangerous. Showing he found one very similar that killed mortals outright in a day he got from the Realm of Yonfir. He tampered with it over several decade to use it to power his castle. But over the past 50 years memebers of the Church of Rebirth have been trying to take it.
Lazurus reveals what he knows about the Church of Rebirth saying they follow a being known as the Grande Father. That they want a new world and they are stationed on the Material Plane. Somehow related to the stones.
Lazurus asks Gael with Nirx listening in to please deal with the influence of Mechanicus as the divine influence it gives off is manipulating the power of the stone. Also says he could jurryring something with their stone given a decade or so. He offers to send one member of his Coven with the party to help with Mechanicus and to with the help of Kris enchant the ship to reduce the power of divine influence.
7/15/3121-7/25/3121 (Long Rest at Vladenkul)
Deciding to accept on both accounts the party spends a week resting on Vladenkul.
Gael - Speaks with Andrea getting her to remove the curse she placed on the blade for 350 gp, thank you Nirx.
Nirx - decideds to speak with residence of Crestfall once more seeing that Elenia seems very down. Tells her she will recieve no help from them as they are leaving.
Slickk - does some stuff (Speak with Lazurus about Humans) (Study / Focus on Soul Coin)
Lazurus tells them to be careful and wishes them luck. He begins to transform into a giant ebony eagle (40 ft) then goes to take down Astral Leviathan. He shifts the weather around them. He combined with the power of the Moons to capture the beast and wail on it while the party sets off towards Mechanicus.
7/26/3121 (Traveling to Mechanicus)
The party has a soul search with each other revealing much. Slickk reveals that he has given a portion of his soul to a devil by the name of Ramodaous. Also using said power of becoming a fiend to take the soul of Elenia. The party is extremely upset by this. Gael worrying for this dad, Constance realizing why he left her in the woods, Scar being unsure. Nirx decided tto convine with the Raven Queen. She is looking stronger with more connections outwards. She tells him she does not know the devil in particular, Nirx asking what he should do. She tells him to protect his friend, Slickk' Twa as these personalities may be influencing him. He may be scared and needs friends in this time. They cant afford to lose allies.
Clara, Lancaster, and the Burly Boys sit below deck listening to the yelling.
Nirx keeps quiet as the party settles down a bit Constance pulls the Runic Stone from the Bag of Consealment to give to Slickk to put the soul coin into for safe keeping.
As she does, holding the stone, Gael and Nirx say they believe she may be something beyond a mortal and ask "Who is the Grande Father?". A glow surrounds them and a warmth. A voice speaks out "May I Help You?"
