A Heated Debate (Session 6)

Our heroes investigate an erupting volcano and broker a peace between rivaling factions. With new information they are ready to continue their search of the Chull.
 

With the sudden eruption of Grimstone the party heads to Calissus to aid by the request of Queen Del'Tenin. The emergence of ash monsters called Grimlings has increased in the area prior to the eruption of the volcano threatening mining operations of the Merfolk who reside there.
Upon further investigation the party encountered a small lava mephit by the name of Flamin. It was revealed that the elementals are scientent and angry at the mining activity done by the Merfolk. The Elementals set off the volcano as a dense mechanism to send the Merfolk away. Needing more information the party followed Flamin into Grimstone to speak with The Burning King.
Attempting to bring peace the party called a parlie between Queen Del'Tenin of the Merfolk and The Burning King of the Elementals to find a solution. With some mediation the party was able to strike a peace. With the Merfolk stopping their mining operations on the island and trade established for stone and ash the two sides came together in a denfensive alliance as well.
Queen Del'Tenin shares the knowledge of the Tritons plan to sink all islands within the sea to have total rulership and that strong alliances will be needed in the future.
In exhange for their help the party was rewarded with both knowledge of the location of the Chull they seek.
