Despite the Baron’s protests, the party decided to release them They agreed to give us one hour before they attempted to break out We emerged into the city streets by speaking the name of the correct God to the storehouse door The Palace of Transcendence seemed to be about 5 miles north of us Thanks to Constance’s Pass Without a Trace we stealthily traversed our way to the Palace We could not take the canal the whole way because the golden ichor inside burned Gael We attempted to enter the palace by swimming up the remainder of the canal near the Palace I was roasted by Nirx and Constance for saying that I, just like Scar, knew Celestial We snuck into the Chamber of the Iridescent Symposium Found teleportation sigils corresponding to different domains Radiance & Power War & Protection Healing & Life Nature & Chaos Civilization & Order Trickery & Luck Unity & Charity Death There was a scratched-out symbol for wisdom - Lady Rayla’s We found the orb containing Zonyak’s Finger floating 50 feet above the symposium table I sent my Unseen Servant to bring the orb down to us Coalescing into the space, a male Celestial figure appeared on the podium just as we brought the orb down Appeared to be the archangel of trickery and luck He congratulated us on our progress but attacked, saying we could not be allowed to proceed Constance acted quickly, slamming the teleportation orb and summoning Lady Rayla to assist us We fought briefly before Rayla intervened and got James (the archangel) to cease fighting We learned that Rayla was banished by Archangel Anias, who is trying to usurp power from the Gods James gave us directions to the Choir of Squall During the conversation, another archangel emerged into the room It seemed to be Anias and he was angry with both James and Rayla Before he could banish Rayla again she invoked her right to call a symposium We were prevented from leaving by Anias and the remaining archangels all appeared Rayla convinced the symposium to banish us the Choir of Squall, where we wanted to end up anyway Some of us found it suspect that Anias and Rayla so readily agreed to send us to the Choir of Squall The two of them might be working together to usurp the gods???
