A trial decreed by the Most Divine Triad to find seven worthy heroes befit to become the saviours of all mortals.

The Trials were decreed by the Most Divine Triad and executed by the holy orders of each deity working together. There were three challenges. Firstly, the Keepers of the Dawn ordered that the heroes face seek out unimaginable evil, dark and twisted and corruptive, and smite it in the name of Lathander. Secondly, the Hollow Guard ordered that the heroes be made to understand the pains of dying over and over again by attempting to conquer an impossibly challenging dungeon. Thirdly, the Weavers showed the heroes terrible visions of the future and potential futures, but ones that they could not change, to make them understand the repercussions of meddling with Lady Fate. Out of hundreds of heroes set to face the Trials, only seven were successful.
