The five District Premiers, rulers of our disparate districts. To think, they hold the power of Planetary Governors, perhaps even some Sector Governors. Such is the strength of Envien.
The District Premier, occassionaly called the District Governor, is the head of Government for each of Envien's five Planetary Districts. They are elected from the House of Tribunes, the Lower House in Envien Parliamentary politics.
Despite being three levels apart from Federal Government, District Premiers still hold immense power, thanks mostly to the strength of the Envis Ecumenopolis.
It is an attractive position to hold. The power it can wield is immeasurable. Even the President would hede the word of a District Premier, for to do otherwise would damage the image of the de-facto capital. But the poliking of Envis is dangerous, inherently. Filled with betrayal, and backyard deals, that can destroy the career of any prospective politician, long before it can truly begin.
