Geppetto of Treviso
Geppetto of Treviso, also known as the Inventor King of Treviso, Grand Inventor Geppetto or Hero of Treviso is an inventor, machinist, and proclaimed hero of the City-State of Treviso. Geppeto is renowned for his creation of living automatons referred to as "Puppets", which valiantly defended the city against the brambles which consumed the Lands of Reverie over 20 years ago. In the modern day, these "Puppet" now operate as cleaners, repairmen, policemen, and various other menial tasks that keep the city running.

Accomplishments & Achievements
Geppetto's greatest accomplishment, at least to the people of Treviso, was the creation of his "Puppets", large-scale clockwork automatons that follow simple instructions at an amazing pace. It was due to their creation that the City of Treviso was able to survive against the Brambles which consumed the Lands of Reverie following the reign of Mad King Jack. Geppetto, however, being a perfectionist, is constantly working and updating his "Puppets", building and rebuilding them with newer features, smarter systems, and better understanding.
Because of his "Puppets", the city of Treviso has become a brilliant beacon against the darkness created by the Fey, a stalwart mechanized wall of industry and iron that Fey creatures despise. Geppetto's face is plastered on every wall, surface, and corner with shops, cafes, and more expressing their thanks to the man with names like "Theatre Geppetto" and "Cafe Geppetto", being common associations with him.
Failures & Embarrassments
Despite the love and admiration of Geppetto's "Puppets", not all of these creations can last forever. As the city has expanded to its new industrial height, many of the older, broken, and underperforming puppets and citizens have been forced from the city of Treviso into an ever-growing slum which has been colloquially called "The Land of Lost Toys". Filled with the "Puppets" and citizenry broken by the transforming Treviso, those who cannot work due to injury, sickness, or mutilation have been forced out by the new ideology of the city into these slums. While the city sees Geppetto's work as divine, almost sacred, those who live in the slums see him as a tyrant, a traitor to man, and a form of False God.
Mental Trauma
However, despite the love and praise Geppetto recieves from the citizenry of Treviso, Geppetto is a haunted man. His son, Carlo, disappeared into the vines during their early invasion and was never found. He considers himself a failure of a father and, as such, has been attempting to revive him. With the help of a Grand Fairy, he has managed to collect Carlo's soul, which he holds in his workshop in a containment jar. For the last 20 years, he has been attempting to create a masterwork puppet, one with human understanding and human intelligence so he can bring his son back.
