Astionite Council of Unity
The Astionite Council of Unity (ACU) is an international organization dedicated to the cultivation of global community and collaboration on the planet of Astion. Founded after the repelled Astral Raider attack on Astion, the ACU's first order of business is to restore quality of life to the parts of the world most impacted by the incursion. Given the tidal waves caused by the astral invasion, nations and territories immediately bordering the Alathlian Ocean receive priority status in the relief efforts.
The Council's most daunting task at present is the Unarithian Reconstruction, as Balanor was by far the hardest hit settlement. They have dispatched a taskforce to assist in the rebuilding process, but are under no illusions that the rebuilding of an ancient city will be completed anytime soon.
That is not to say the Council lacks long-term goals. Once a pre-invasion standard of living has been secured for all nations of Astion, the Council intends to foster diplomatic relations with the eventual hope of founding a global governing body.
