Unarithian Reconstruction

The Unarithian Reconstruction is the time period immediately following the Unarithian Civil War, and is widely considered to have been brought about by the repelled invasion of the Astral Raiders.
  While the cosmic threat of the raiders was repelled, it left many Astionite cities in ruins. No settlement suffered greater losses than the elven capital of Balanor, which was all but crushed by the tidal wave resulting from the raiders' first strike.
  In the wake of this devastation, the warring elven factions immediately ceased organized hostilities to rebuild their once-proud capital. But they were not alone. Following the successful defense of their homeworld, the many nations of Astion sought to spark a global recovery. Despite the ruthlessly self-sufficient nature of the Old Guard, many Unarithians welcomed the outside help, and the elven borders have remained open ever since.
