Revenant
Revenants, not to be confused with True Revenant, are creatures that have remained in some fashion after death while retaining some fraction of their mind or soul. They are a subcategory of undead, though retaining one's soul is not a requirement for undeath. All undead which are also ghostlike must be revenants, while a simple walking corpse would not be a revenant.
