Occupation
Messenger and aspiring adventurer.
Location
Often found near
Rel Town Square or running errands between various shops and homes.
Personality
Bold, curious, and highly energetic, Ayla is well-known around Rel for her quick feet and quicker wit. She’s adventurous, with dreams of becoming a renowned explorer or adventurer, though for now, she works as a messenger, darting around the streets delivering letters and small parcels. Her resourcefulness and knack for finding shortcuts through the town make her the go-to courier for locals in a hurry.
Appearance
Ayla has sun-kissed skin, tousled dark hair, and sharp green eyes that are always glancing at what’s around her. She’s usually seen wearing a patched-up brown cloak and sturdy boots that have seen a lot of use. A small leather satchel hangs across her shoulder, bulging with deliveries.
Backstory
Ayla was raised by her single mother, @Lorna, a seamstress who works for the wealthy residents of Rel. Though they live modestly, Lorna instilled in Ayla the value of hard work and independence. Her father was an adventurer who disappeared on an expedition into
The Infernal Forest when Ayla was just a baby. Ayla often listens to stories about her father and imagines following in his footsteps.
Quirks
Ayla has an uncanny ability to remember even the most obscure alleyways or hidden passages in the town. She’s also known for slipping into places she probably shouldn’t be—like the
Thirsty Devil Tavern’s storeroom, the attic of
The Guilded Quill, or even sneaking a peek at the adventurer’s board before new postings are officially up.
Skills
Stealth, Navigation (specifically urban), Minor Thievery, Quick Reflexes
