History
Niv had a difficult relationship with her mother. Maeva suppressed her magic gave her to Cherin and Ren to raise in the Jeweled Woods. Niv freed Maeva from Vorea's magical prison in 854. Maeva strongly disapproved of Niv's relationship with Shareis. Though part of this was due to unresolved trauma from her torture, the bulk of this bias comes from her own prejudices.
