Geography
Flanked by the North Seagates to the East, and the Sierrican Mountains to the West, and fed by the mighty Mervine River to the North, running out of the Sparhels.
It's climate ranges from the warm and dry around Bethara, Lyros and Calanae, to extremely wet and humid in the areas around Sarenna, with Arcos and Ferenza finding themselves somewhere in the middle.
The Bay itself is considerably warm, scholars believe it to a least be partially heated by thermal vents under the ocean, which explains the relatively warmer climate of the region.
